# Troubleshooting

> The most common problems and how to fix them.

## The dealer is empty / my vehicle doesn't show up

The vehicle's resource is not running. Check that it has its own `ensure` line in `server.cfg` (for example `ensure rco-wanderer`) and that the server console shows no error when it starts.

## "Not enough money" but the player has money

`Config.MoneyAccount` points to a different money than the one the player has. On RSG, `'cash'` and `'bank'` are different. On VORP only `'cash'` and `'gold'` work.

## Pressing J does nothing

* Stand closer: the player has to be within `Config.InteractDistance` (2 metres) of the spot. The hint at the bottom of the screen shows when you are close enough.
* Load a character first: the menus only open for a loaded character.

## R doesn't put the vehicle away

* Ride the vehicle to the garage: it has to be within `Config.StoreDistance` (15 metres) of the garage spot.
* It has to be **your** vehicle, bought in RCO Vehicles.

## "Something is in the way at the pick-up spot"

Another vehicle, a horse or a player is standing on the garage's `spawn` spot. Move it, or choose a clearer spot in the config.

## My vehicles disappeared after I edited a garage

The garage's short name was changed (for example `valentine` became `valentine2`). Put the old name back and the vehicles return to it.

## The game crashed after restarting the resource

Restarting a resource that has 3D models while your game is open can crash the game. Close your game first, then restart the resource, or restart the whole server.

## Still stuck?

Set `Config.Debug = true`, restart, reproduce the problem and bring the server console and F8 messages to our [Discord](https://discord.gg/j67u6pbnDs).
